Lands and Resources
The Teslin Tlingit land and Resource Act deals with many aspects of Settlement Land management: administration (how TTC makes decisions about Settlement Land), rights in and to Land and Resources, planning and Development, and enforcement.
The TTLRA also provides a Framework for the management and administration of TTC Aboriginal Title land, one of the ways TTC will exercise its authority in BC.
Since the TTLRA was enacted in July 2016, six regulations have been developed. These regulations more clearly lay out what rights need to be in place (and authorizations granted) before any person can possess, occupy, use or develop settlement land.
